Tristen’s is part of Nashville’s underground rock scene. Her live band features her husband on electric guitar and some of Nashville’s finest as the rhythm session. 17th Annual Huntsville Obedience Training Club Dog Fair

Sept. 28

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monte Sano State Park

The fair will offer demonstrations and performances by trained dogs and microchipping clinic. Dogs can take the Canine Good Citizen test and participate in classes such as Best Costume, K-9 Celebrity look-a-likes and Best Trick. A kids area blends education and fun. It will teach children how to safely approach unknown dogs, and then give tickets to be used at kids carnival booths. Activities are free; microchipping is $25 and parking costs $10. Dogfair.org
